Got first vacuum 7 years ago and within a few weeks the door fell off and plastic clip holding bottom of vacuum on broke. I wanted to fix it but dealer insisted on exchanging it. On the second vacuum, the door hinge broke the second time I opened the door to change the bag. About 2 to 3 years later, the vacuum was turning off after a few minutes use and would have to cool down before it would work again, bag reset button fell off and the vacuum would stop working occasionally but would restart when I hit it. Called the company and they replaced the vacuum after I was able to produce a receipt of purchase. They did not even want the old machine back. New vacuum worked well for last 3 years and now the motor runs but have no suction. Quick summary: very good suction, reliability is fair but no excuse for cheap plastic parts on wear and tear components.
