I wanted to give it a 4 1/2 but the site wouldn't let me. This is such a great vacuum because it is so maneuverable and can get under and around places so easily, even hard to reach areas. It has a setting for floors so that the brush doesn't rotate. It is powerful and does a thorough job. I do my whole 1200 square foot house with it, but since the filter is small, I empty it when I'm done. It has some drawbacks.1. One of the cord windup hooks broke so now the cord is difficult to wind. I just wrap it around the vacuum.2. The cord could be just a couple feet longer.3. You have to position it just right if you want to stand it upright. Sometimes it's fallen over (No big deal though).
