Studies have shown that wet cleaning of your carpet with water & detergent can produce bacteria (like a Petri dish), especially if you don't thoroughly let it dry.Since I love my Sebo vacuum cleaner, I decided to give this dry cleaner a try. Thankfully they carry the refill size (5 at about $7 each) delivered versus the $16 price with the container/brush.I love the stuff! You can actually clean the heavy traffic areas more often with this stuff without soaking, and it's environmental friendly on top of being easy.You are able to work it into the carpet with your feet by walking on it and working it into the carpet. A slow vacuuming will lift the nap.I tried it on a carpet in the garage and realize that it lifts greasy messes up way better than any detergent I have ever used. Great stuff!
