I recently purchased two of these. Both ended up having the same problem, they are very hard to handle/push. I thought that it may just be me having the trouble with pushing/handling the vacuum, but my husband felt that it was hard for him to push, as well. We don't have very plush carpets, and I did make sure that the setting was set to carpet.I've had other Dyson vacuums (DC07)in the past. I have had my DC07 for about 10 years, and I absolutely loved it. I just wanted to upgrade to a newer model, this time I ordered a different model (DC33), it should be here later today. Hopefully, the 3rd time will be a charm.
