I have used all vacuum types - upright (can't do stairs or wood), canister (pain to lug around), handheld (can't do carpet). This back pack style is the only one that does it all! I put a 50' ext. cord on it and can do my whole house without replugging. Bags are huge, last a long time. And my walls don't get marked up anymore from contact with the canister or upright. Great product!
