I really don't see the point is to steaming mirrors (they get steamed with every shower) or windows with the window squeegee: do windows really need to be sanitized? J. Muench  |  2 reviewers made a similar statement
You have to unplug the unit and let it sit for at least 5 minutes before trying to open the cap to the tank, otherwise you will get some hot steam on your hands. SD  |  2 reviewers made a similar statement
You could certainly use this to steam drapes, but I wouldn't use it on clothing. R. Ferguson  |  1 reviewer made a similar statement

Amazon Vine™ Review(What's this?)

This steam cleaner worked great when I used it in the kitchen to clean the stove top, around the edge of the range, under the slightly raised knobs, ridges, corners, and other hard to get places. The trick is to point the sharp nozzle right on the spot and let it sit there until the crud is loosened or blasted away. There will be pools of water along with the loosened dirt so have a terry cloth handy to wipe it all away. As promised, I did not have to use any chemicals or abrasives.I also used the squeegee accessory to steam clean some windows and it worked fine - although not completely streak free. Again, the appeal is not having to use any chemicals to do so.The steam cleaner did not do so well in the bathroom, at the edge of the bathtub, around the faucet fixtures, or the toilet. It barely made any discernible difference.I did use the the steam wand to steam some clothes: a light sweater, cotton shirt, and rayon blouse. The trick is to let the water heat up for at least 10 minutes and not fill the tank up with water. Spray out some steam first before steaming your clothes or it will dribble water all over them. The water tank doesn't hold a lot of water so if you're doing some serious cleaning, be prepared to fill up multiple times. You have to unplug the unit and let it sit for at least 5 minutes before trying to open the cap to the tank, otherwise you will get some hot steam on your hands.
