I have tried all kinds of other vacuum cleaners, with no luck. I have 6 kids, 3 doge, 3 cats, bunny and guinea pig. I have tried the Shark, Bissell, Hoover, Dyson. With all of these including with the special "Pet" features, there was constant clogging of hoses. I wanted a vacuum that I could run over marbles if I wanted and continue to vacuum. NOTE: this is just a vacuum cleaner, so if you need hose attachments, keep an old vacuum cleaner around. But for your main vacuuming, this is a keeper! I love it, love it, LOVE IT!
