I have hardwood floors and some rugs. This things works whisper quiet when I need it to. Such as when kids or wife are sleeping. Any other vacuum would wake up the baby. I have had the vacuum almost a year. I have no problems with it. Changing the bag is easy.Cord rewind is great, it rolls on floor nicely. It is light. So all good things about the vacuum. Only complaint is the accessory storage compartment door will flip open some times. I think the lock on it is kind of loose. The door serves no functional purpose it is just an observation.I mentioned that I have hardwood floors with rug. So with rug it needs to be on high and it will do a good job of picking up everything.But if you have carpets you need a carpet vacuum, not this one.
