I enjoy using this floor cleaner. With the amount of hardwood/laminate and linolium that I have in my downstairs area, I can go a bottle of expensive floor cleaner in just a few days or so, especially in the wintertime. The cleaner I buy is 4 or 5 dollars a bottle. The cleaner you use in this machine lasts a long time - it only takes a quarter cup or so mixed water for the tank and a tank will last most of the week for me.Here is what else I like about this cleaner: It's very lightweight and portable. I can take it upstairs to clean the bathroom floors very easily. One of the bathrooms is large and with this machine, I can easily carry it up-vacuum the room and then mop it in one go. This cleaner gets the edges around the baseboard well and it hugs up against the walls.As for my larger rooms downstairs, this works well too. The vacuum is no Dyson, but it does a good job on dust, dirt, mud, cat/dog hair and particles, but it won't suck up larger things. If you have larger debris on your floor, you'd have to sweep first.Another good feature of this small unit is that it easily reaches under tables and chairs to vacuum and mop. I have to move things around with my big vacuum, but this one easily cleans near and around furniture-and since its lightweight it's nicer to use around stuff.The canister and filter are relatively small so I find myself cleaning the (vacuum) filter several times when cleaning, but it is quick and easy to do.I noticed with the drying feature of this machine when the mop pad on the bottom gets saturated, the vacuum won't dry it all the way. If you mop first and take out the mop pad and then use the suction, the floor dries very quickly. I discovered this over time, once I removed the damp mop pad, the floor dried almost instantly. Everytime I use this Bissell, the tank sucks up really dirty water so I know that it is cleaning the floors well.All in all, for convenience, portability and good results. For larger flooring areas, it might take a little longer because it's a small machine but it does do two things at once. Personally, I really like it. It was easy to put together and it does a great job as a dual, innovative product.
